NomBox

The NomBox is a reusable food container specifically designed to replace the non-recyclable Styrofoam take-out containers used by restaurants and food trucks. The container consists of four parts: a base made of food-grade plastic and silicone rubber, a lid made of the same plastic, and two removable plastic separators. To meet the needs of students and professionals on-the-go, the silicone rubber base of the NomBox collapses and the lid nests underneath. The NomBox collapses to around 1” think, a third its normal size. Since the NomBox is a one-size-fits-all container, it is designed with removable separators to mimic both containers commonly used at food trucks: the one large compartment container, and the commonly known three compartment “clam shell” container. Finally the NomBox is leak proof. Not only does the lid seal tightly to the base but the separators also match the contour of the lid to prevent leaking between compartments.
