A team of nine people took apart a 1947 Royal KMM Typewriter, modeled every piece in solidworks, and animated the assembly. Our final model had over 600 unique parts. Parts were modelled precisely enough that the final model functioned (as seen in the first part of the video). I personally spent over 60 hours over three weeks modelling and animating. I was primarily responsible for the modelling the shuttle and creating the final assembly.
